Doodle Bug Art
Young artist will blossom in this low-keyed, hands-on class! Hand eye coordination will improve as children develop skills and have fun creating in a relaxed atmosphere.
These little children will learn to draw simple objects as we explore various art materials and try our hand at painting, collage and creating 3-D forms using paint, glitter, beads, clay, fabric and more, all in an environment that fosters creativity and promotes self-expression.
This class only lasts for 45 minutes due to the shorter attention span of young children. Parents are welcome to stay or go.

Children's Beginning Art
The basis of this class is drawing. Children will learn how take a three-dimensional object and accurately represent it on a two dimensional paper. They will also be introduced to all the standard art concepts of perspective, foreshortening, shadows, shading, and color theory in an easy to understand terms.
Most lessons begin by having the children follow along as the teacher demonstrates step-by-step how to draw an object. After the drawing is done several photographs of the subject in their natural surroundings are brought out and we talk about possible backgrounds, colors and texture that could be added to their art project. Then the FUN and individual creativity begins! The children use their creativity and imagination to complete their art project in a method that suits them.
In this class children will have the opportunity to use a variety of high quality art materials, i.e.: acrylic paint, pen and ink, watercolors, chalk and oil pastels, colored pencils, watercolor pencils, polymer clay, fabric and more.
All art materials included.

Children's Intermediate Art
Designed for fun and learning, this course includes still life drawing, acrylic painting, polymer clay sculpture, tie dying, puppet making and more! A busy, interesting and productive class designed for students to have FUN as they explore creativity. The basis of this art course will also be drawing just as it is the basis for all visual art. Standard art concepts of perspective, foreshortening, shadows, shading, and color theory will be reviewed and reinforced to help children be successful in completing their creations to their satisfaction.
